It’s almost the weekend, which means we’re one more day closer to Christmas! I’m ready for a christmas cocktail – who’s with me? I’m so excited to share this post with y’all, it’s been on my calendar for a while now and what’s better than sharing it 10 days before Christmas so you can enjoy these while you’re home for the holidays!? Click through to see how I’ll be putting a Christmas twist on my Moscow Mules this winter.
I’m so excited to be spending the holidays with my parents this year but Christmas in warm, sunny Florida is nothing like growing up with Christmas in New England. While I’m used to having a white christmas (literally) my parents recently made the move to Florida to get away from the harsh winter weather. I really can’t complain however, this time of year I find myself going the extra mile to make sure it really feels like Christmas in Florida. I’m talking the whole ten yards, Christmas music during the day, cheesy Christmas movies at night, and holiday cocktails. I’ve modified my favorite Moscow Mule recipe to help with the Christmas spirit and this Cranberry Moscow Mule is SOOO GOOD!
Cranberry Moscow Mule
- 2oz. Vodka
- 1oz. Cranberry Juice
- Ginger Beer
- Fresh Lime
- Fresh Cranberries
Step 1: Fill your copper mugs to the rim with ice.
Step 2: Pour 2 ounces of vodka. Pouring right over the ice helps to chill the drink as you’re making it!
Step 3: Add in 1 ounce of cranberry juice. Note– I switched the lime juice for cranberry juice here.
Step 4: Top with Ginger Beer.
Step 5: Garnish your drink with fresh cranberries and lime.
Tip: You could also muddle some fresh cranberries before Step 1 to add some additional flavor!
What’s your holiday drink of choice this Christmas?
