Hosting Guests with At Home

Can you believe it’s already almost holiday season?? I can’t believe that it’s the second week of November already- before we know it, it’s going to be 2017! But before I get too ahead of myself, who’s ready to host family members for the holidays this season? Whether you’re hosting at your own home or spending the holidays at mom and dad’s, transitioning a bar cart to a coffee cart is a great way to entertain guests during the holidays this year.

My first year of living in Charlotte my parents decided that they were going to come to me for the holidays. Spending time in my new city with my family was such an amazing experience. I loved being able to show them around, and playing hostess while my parents relaxed was a great way for me to return the favor after years of them hosting myself and other family members. But the worst part was when I had to be at the office while they were visiting… even if it was only for a few hours!

Now, If I could list what I love about a bar cart; it’s not only that they’re back in style and oh-so popular, but I also love how versatile a bar cart is these days. This year, I’m transforming my bar cart to a coffee cart for guests – I wish I would have thought about this years ago! With the help from At Home, I’ve styled my coffee cart to include all of the early morning essentials and even the wifi password which is great for those mornings you have to run to the office before the clock hits ‘vacation‘!
