Happy Thursday friends! Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week?? The holidays are in the air and it’s the season of entertaining. That means it’s time to start prepping your home for when friends and family come over. Today, I’m sharing a little sneak peek into my fall coffee table & how I’ve styled it perfectly for the season.
I started with an oversized wicker tray to anchor the items to the table and keep everything easily organized. Stacking two of my new favorite coffee table books, these add color and substance to the table – they also act as a conversation piece. Emily Henderson’s new book, Styled is filled with endless amounts of home inspiration… anyone can pick up this book and find something they love (it’s a wish list in a book) Under it, I have Justina Blakeney’s book, The New Bohemians which is another favorite of mine. Think every ounce of earthly, eclectic home decor bundled up in a book. Yes please!
Pair the books with a mercury glass bowl or metal bowl that sits slightly taler than the books and fill it with wine corks. One good thing about wine corks – you can add more corks to the bowl each time you have guests over and enjoy a bottle of wine (or two). Sunday mimosas with your girlfriends? Yep, throw those corks in there too! Lastly, top your books with something cute and arrange your coasters for easy access when your guests come over. Not only is your coffee table perfectly styled for fall, but it’s a conversation piece thats functional for hosting throughout the holidays too!
Remember my DIY marbled coasters post? These coasters are one of my favorite DIY’s to date & they would make great gifts too! Check it out here.
